The Los Angeles Film School celebrates the inaugural season of its Vanguard Series featuring legendary photographer "Helmut Newton"

The Los Angeles Film School launched the inaugural season of the school’s Vanguard Series with world-renowned photographer Helmut Newton. The event featured a lecture by Newton with slides of his legendary work in the school’s new 340-seat stadium style theatre. On hand for the occasion was June Newton, wife and longtime collaborator, director and advisory board member Phillip Noyce, photographer Herb Ritts, artist Ed Ruscha, director Jon Amiel, Wendy Stark, Film School Dean Amedeo D’Adamo, Founder and PGA President Thom Mount and Film School President Carolyn Pfeiffer. The Vanguard Series is an exciting guest speaker program which features many of The Los Angeles Film School Advisory Board members as well as a continuing series of master film and television industry professionals, representing every area of filmmaking
